in the greater Haight. Our boundaries are roughly 17th Street on the south,
Fulton on the north, Divisadero on the east and Arguello on the west.

the Board of Supervisors

The commendation reads: "In grateful recognition
of your foresight and dedication in initiating the creation of the Neighbors as First Responders
program to build community-based disaster
response plans tailored to individuals so that neighborhoods can be self-sufficient in disasters, which is especially poignant today, the 100th anniversary of the Great Earthquake of 1906. The Board of Supervisors extends its highest commendation."

HAIA Presents a Certificate of Appreciation to Park District Police

May 25, 2006 - HAIA Certificate reads: "In Appreciation of Park District Police Officers for enhancing community relationships, building rapport and mutual trust; for securing the safety of our streets, homes and businesses; for risking your own safety in the pursuit of criminal elements; for sacrificing time with your own families to attend our neighborhood meetings; for long
and distinguished service to our neighborhood - we thank you."
Officers are also displaying Certificates of Honor awarded by District 5's Supervisor Mirkarimi.

Captain John Ehrlich receiving Certificate from Cheryl Brodie, HAIA President. Lieutenant Foley looks on. Captain Ehrlich will be departing mid-June for a family vacation followed by FBI school. Lieutenant Foley will be Acting Captain as the senior lieutenant at Park Station. Captain Ehrlich will return
mid-September.
